    It is a place where if you are a regular they know your name. Service is very good. They have a variety of regular items along with special that are tasty, interesting & priced right to. I like the place!!

    Outstanding home cooking. Affordable prices. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The waitress AND the cook had no problem accommodating a special request we made. A very nice, first time, experience.

    Breakfast is great sausage gravy with homemade biscuits. If you like it then you have to have there's. There Biscuits and bread are made daily.

    I have only been 2x's and both times ordered breakfast. (Not sure yet how good the lunch or dinner is but I have heard great things) I am not a huge pancake lover but I was pretty impressed with the pancakes at plainsman. 1st time I ordered French toast and my husband ordered the pancakes (both were excellent but I actually enjoyed the pancakes more) it's a pretty small diner (seems all the locals go there often, they know everyone's name) I would recommend the plainsman. I Just need to try the lunch /dinner menu. They make most things from scratch. Bread, pies and most of the food from what they said and also my experience so far. Nothing fancy! Cool atmosphere (different states licenses plates on the walls) I like the small diner atmosphere with homemade food and very generous portions.
